Let’s hope this is the beginning of positive change in the region. Any country that isn’t publicly thanking Israel needs to re-examine their foreign policies. Excellent discussion Vivian and Ya’akov!

Thanks for tuning in, Glenn. I was thrilled that Ya'akov and I were able to connect and , wow, what a day. You wake up and - never know what awaits you. I agree with you 100% about Israel having done the heavy lifting for the west but few countries will have the courage or principle to say so out loud. I must say - Germany surprised me. Well done, Chancellor Merz.

Thank you, Vivian! Now that the head of the Octopus has been nearly cut off, what happens to all the tentacles? How will this affect Hamas and the release (or, I am scared to think of the converse) of the hostages? Ya'akov touched on it but would love your insights on that as the week plays out. Also, how do I buy you a cup of coffee? As always, stay safe!

So nice to hear from you Jennifer! All great questions.....we do our best to cram in as much as possible......its beyond insane - thte pace of events. As for what happens to the tentacles, I'll definitely be dealing with that in the coming days.....but a quick answer is that they are pretty badly damaged. Hezballah REFUSED to support Iran militarily. Hamas? They've even been kind of quiet. They're out of money. Out of food. By all accounts the chaos in the Gaza Strip is extreme,......and I hope for the sake of civilians and, of course, hostages - that this chapter ends with sanity. Meaning the release of all hostages and possibility of some safety and access to life essentials for civilians. Moment to moment. As for the cuppa coffee thing - mind reader! I was just looking at that as a companion platform and will have an answer in the next day or two. I know that people find the subscription model somewhat onerous at times......and there has been a proliferation of sites in recent months. We need both - steady supporters and some contribution from those who drop in now and then. And it would be nice if all who appreciate the content considered contributing now and then......as you say.......a cuppa coffee...:) stay tuned.
