Thank you for this interview and your side comments regarding the present state of Canadian antisemitism. As a Canadian I am appalled at our Prime ministers behaviour and I can only hope his days are numbered in his position.

Well, the polls do not bode well for Trudeau....but we'll have to see what the people decide. I fear for Canada. Thanks for listening and the feedback.

gushing. one softball question after another when Netanyahu has so much to answer for. I didn't perceive this platform as right-wing pro-Bibi. I do now.

It wasn't meant to be a hardball interview. Eylon has become a mini celebrity....and I thought that people might find it interesting to hear his thoughts in a less formal manner. As for your decision to perceive this platform as "right wing pro-Bibi",,.....based on one interview.....that's your prerogative. Judging by one interview is a bit rash, imo. If you peruse the archives you may well conclude differently. But - thanks for listening and the feedback.

Thanks for your response. I don't think the fact that Levy is a mini celebrity means you couldn't ask him some tough questions. After all, he represents a prime minister who brought the country to the edge of the abyss with the judicial overhaul, then left the southern communities open to the horrors of 10/7, then led a government that barely functioned in its aftermath, and now doesn't seem to have a coherent plan for the day after in Gaza or an idea of how to deal long term with millions of Palestinians living without political rights under Israel's control. And you had his spokesman in front of you to respond to some of these things. I perused. Frankly, I didn't find anyone who clearly comes from the left--e.g., Meretz. Did I miss it?

Thanks, Martin. The people to grill, in my opinion, are members of gov and every military and other leader. As u may have noticed they don’t submit to interviews these days. Asking Eylon to explain where the IDF was on 10/7 is pointless. And that’s not the interview I wanted.

As for not having a Meretz voice…..STLV does not carry a flag for any particular party. Nor do I. I am more focused on quality of content and presenting as honest a picture as possible. I interview and write about left to right.

In the past there has been more diversity of writers and voices. Quite a few likely do vote Meretz. Or Labour. I don’t ask people about their political affiliation. I focus on the writing and quality. Analytical skill.

I have a pod coming up soon w a hard right politician. What did I want to accomplish? Get information or attack? You will hate that interview. But I’m sure u understand that there are different techniques one deploys, depending on short and long term goals, the nature of the individual, and what you, the interviewer, wants.

I live here. I am well aware of the tragedy that befell us on 10/7 and every day since. I have written and interviewed about the many related issues for months. .and during the judicial reform protests.

I am committed to producing quality content each week. It’s a lot of work and responsibility. These last few years have been truly existential in every possible way for Israel. And I take that very seriously.

I am proud of what has been published for almost two years. The content is varied and that is a high value for me. It may be that State of Tel Aviv isn’t right for you. But I do appreciate you engaging.

Permit me to suggest three people to interview who IMO would provide quality and honesty: Yossi Klein Halevi, Nimrod Novik and Yossi Alpher.
