Thank you for bringing the outrageous farce that Piers Morgan calls a media platform, to the attention of those who may not have had the seriously unfortunate experience of watching this horrific display of ignorance, arrogance, profound rudeness and “obnoxiousism”. (Just made that up)

He was absolutely disgusting and utterly anti-journalistic. He wouldn’t let Natasha get a word in edgewise as he shouted swear words at her. He is a poor excuse for a “public figure” and should crawl back into the slimy muck he emerged from. 🤬🤦🏻‍♀️

Thanks for reading and commenting. He is a symptom of so much that is so wrong with our society. Natasha did make a comment that was quite serious and unfounded......but he could and should have handled that professionally. And he gives so many passes to truly odious guests. It's time he was held accountable.

Great post Vivian. Apart from Piers and his questionable tactics, it strikes me that the anti-Israel crowd is gaining momentum and that hysteria and anti-semitism are combining to put Israel and Jews generally in an ever worse spot. Even facts and historical analysis in our favour don't seem to count any longer. How to counter this? How to develop a strategy that rolls back hate and idiocy (and really idiotic influencers)?

Thanks, Pieter. Man, if I had the solution......

I think that when those in the west other than Jews truly come to terms with the reality of Islamization that things will change. But it is going to be a long and bloody road, I fear. I hope I'm wrong. There's just too much dysfunction and rage and chaos. Everywhere it seems. Facts and historical analysis were never valued when it came to Jews and Israel. As a Dutchman you know that one person can only hold back the flood with a finger in the dyke for so long. Everyone has to wake the eff up and take responsibility for our society. In this specific context - don't give Piers the ratings. I think and hope that this episode may be a real turning point for independent media. Sure hope so.

Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience..

Or the original proverbs version - Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you yourself will be just like him.

Rings true when it comes to debating people like Dave.

No argument from here. The challenge is that so many quite brilliant and astute people are entering the ring with comic Dave and others of his ilk........the few friends that i have of such public stature - i work on - but if he's gonna behave like jerry springer then he should be reduced to interviewing the kinds of people jerry springer did. Or - the market has to support higher quality shows.

Thanks for this enlightening piece, who the hell are his audience. This kind of stuff is like an opiate to the listeners and they want more, it is so damaging to western society such as it is. 🇨🇦 🇮🇱 👍 🚀🚀🚀

His audience? Not me but he's huge. Who listens to Joe Rogan? For hours? Thanks for reading and the feedback. Piers is still attacking Natasha on social media and behaving like a cornered tiger. Lashing out wildly. Will be interesting to see if this boosts or busts him. Or leaves him unscathed.

I sat through the whole Douglas vs Dave debate/debacle. Douglas outclassed Dave but it was like watching an intelligent adult debate with an arrogant ignorant teenage boy and I understand why Douglas just seemed to have enough of it..

I can't watch the piers one simply as I won't watch another Dave Smith "debate". He has nothing to offer on any level and just makes me feel dumber witnessing his childish thinking. Add Piers to that and I don't understand how anyone could intentionally put themselves through that ;-)

Mystifying, isn’t it? I’ve heard the view that Natasha felt it was OK to do it since Douglas and the formidable John Spencer had preceded her. Apparently Spencer had done so on Piers’ show more than once. Every time they “debate” on that gutter…..worse yet comic Dave….they legitimize the whole mess, imo. There are people now mulling whether to continue to oblige. Getting great ratings in a sewer seems to be a counter productive escapade in the long run. Thx for the feedback, Joel.
