‼️WAR WITH IRAN. DISPATCH #2: SUNDAY, March 1, 2026 ‼️

Posting mid-afternoon in Israel. Insane pace.

Below – video released earlier today by IDF showing a direct missile hit in Tel Aviv:

Just left the safe room in my home around 2 pm local time. Sirens screeched with no prior notice, which is not typical. Looks like Iran is firing everything they have in an effort to overwhelm Israeli air defenses, which they seem to have accomplished to a degree. We just emerged from our safe room a few minutes ago and there are early reports on social media of many injuries but I’ll wait until they’re confirmed by reliable sources. Big hit in Bet Shemesh.

Here’s a map of the blanketing of much of Israel in the last missile blast from Iran:

The central city of Bet Shemesh suffered direct hits. Four confirmed fatalities and 20 injured.

Here is the second smaller wave of Iranian missiles targeting southern Israel, including where I live:

Released for publication by IDF Spokesperson in online briefing earlier today at 1130 am IST/0430 EST:

· Supreme Leader Khamenei was targeted and eliminated in Tehran with IDF relying on real time intelligence to execute this spectacular operation.

· Israel’s opening strike on Tehran on Saturday morning targeted two different locations in broad daylight. Within one minute – 40 senior commanders, including Ayatollah Khamenei, were eliminated.

· Surprise was critical in the opening salvo.

· Focus then shifted to eliminating Iranian air defenses to allow operational freedom and dominance.

· Priority targets were ballistic missiles (BM) prepared to launch.

· In the June war with Iran its BM inventory was reduced to 1,500 and has since increased to approximately 2,500. Replenishment of ballistic missile capability has been a regime priority since June.

· Saturday night/Sunday morning the US/Israeli priority was to degrade BM capabilities throughout Iran. 30 targets were hit. Aerial operations are now shifting to the heart of Tehran.

IN ISRAEL:

· Home Front Command reports that Iran fired multiple missile attacks overnight targeting Israeli civilians. Impact occurred in “single digit” locations.

· A house in Israel was hit and a woman killed.

· Iranian BMs and drones have been directed at many countries in the region, including Israel, Saudi Arabia. Qatar, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, Oman and in the last hour or two Cyprus. US military bases throughout the region have been targeted by Iran as well.

· Iranian BMs can reach much of Europe, Africa and Asia. Range of up to 3,000 km.

· Regarding reports of Israel having targeted a girls’ school and killed up to 100 students IDF Spokesperson confirms that Israel was not operating in the area and is checking with US.

I will add here (me speaking, not the IDF) that in recent weeks Iranian sources have noted that in the event of a US/Israeli attack that the regime would likely target its own people (as it has been doing since December 28 with impunity) and attribute the savagery to Israel/the US.

It is noteworthy that much of the international media unquestioningly accepts reports attributing conduct to Israel which is repeatedly debunked.

Iranian missile strikes are reported to have hit: Israel, Saudi Arabia. Qatar, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan.
