Thanks Viv for interviewing an old USDS friend. To us he was Mutley and his collecting took many forms before he became obsessed with Hertzl. I must say that it was challenging to listen to his voice as it in no way sounded like him. Regardless his obsession is our gift and we are extremely fortunate to have his collection for future generations.

Hey David. I'll have to ask him about the warmup obsessions. I swear - no voice modification.....in spite of our tech issues that is what the real David Matlow sounds like. So glad you enjoyed it. Quite the year you guys had at that school! Wishing you a happy and healthy and peaceful 2025.

Fabulous, Vivian! Information like this as well as my continuing education of Jewish history (so much reading!) is a blessing amongst all of the sadness and despair. I have some questions as to some of the sources I’ve encountered. Do you have time for an exchange via email? Thank you, again.

Beautiful Chanukah Gift this interview todah raba Queen Vee. David was a fabulous enthusiastic Student President at FHCI in the mid to late 70s.

His exquisite mother Esther Matlow (May her memory be a blessing 10 fold) a driving profound warm leadership for the Hadassah. Esther welcomed my Lebanese Jewish mother newly arrived to the neighborhood and with open arms. A great spirited family. The Matlows embody Tikkun and Mitzvah, much like this webcast and your work Viv. Hac Samaya Ms Bercovici. Toronto celebrates you.
