S2 E52. Transcript - Sundays With Ya’akov: Hostage Deal. Now – or Never?

A Hostage Deal with Hamas could mean no regional war and lead to normalization between Saudi and Israel.

We recently began to provide written transcripts of podcasts in response to numerous requests. We are working out some kinks in our workflow process but I think we’re there now. Priority will be given to generating transcripts from the weekly Sunday political and security check-in/update with Ya’akov Katz (and, occasionally, other guests). We will provide those within 24-36 hours so that they are not stale.

Other podcasts may take a little longer. There are several reasons we cannot rely on AI to generate transcripts. Firstly, AI sometimes gets thrown off by different accents. And we have many accents. Then there are the foreign words and names. AI doesn’t really know what to do with those. And then there are just the limitations of AI which I expect many of you have encountered. It is not a human brain. Yet. It doesn’t understand nuance or homonyms. Sometimes it is quite funny what it churns out.

So – it takes time to generate a reliable transcript. We will continue to do our best. Thanks for your patience as we grow and work to add bells and whistles.

All transcripts are provided to paying subscribers only.
