(And A Brief Note on the International Court of Justice) I have often remarked that we do not have a vocabulary to express the devastation of October 7th. Many hostage families say they inhabit an alternate reality. Where time stands still. The horror remains fresh. The torment unrelenting. It is almost one hundred days since the savage Hamas attacks forever altered Jewish history.
Utterly heartbreaking and devastating how the attack could have been misread- leaving the people vulnerable to the horror that ensued..Unconscionable and unforgivable! A blight on our people.
Vivian, again thank you so much for the work you are doing. To protect my heart and my spirit I've had to limit my intake of media but I make it a point to listen to every episode of your podcast. If there's any way to contact some of these families, I would love to send an email of love and support, although I understand they need their privacy. I will keep praying for the safe return of every hostage and to try my hardest to be positive, like Romi's Dad.
Your description of massive government failure is gut wrenching. The video speaks
volumes and Maya's translation made it possible for us to comprehend the
total abandonment, by their leaders, to keep Israelis safe.

Thanks H and S! Indeed….I have one of the finest translators around!!!
The hearing's being held at the ICJ, not at the ICC.
